OK, we know the internet is bad in the Philippines and having used most of them I know the frustration of being on the phone for hours and hours getting nonstop mistruths and engineers who do not show, or do show and tell even more mistruths. The truth is the companies do not care as they have the monopoly, and even though the Philippines is at the bottom of the list in Asia when it comes to internet speed, it really does not care.

Here is another reply from Globe about my ongoing dispute with fxxxxxd up billing.
I’m sorry for all that happened Sir. As checked, your account with mobile number xxxxxxxx1 and account number xxxxxx has overdue balance amounting to Php 3,xxxxx that has been due last x/x/2015. This account has been temporarily disconnected due to non-payment. Yes, account MRF is already included in your internet’s bill. However, usage that is already beyond your subscription will be charged on your wireless bill (xxxxxxx). We understand that this is not your usual usage. Please be informed that the system captured the transaction made which originated from the SIM. Thus, the transaction and charges is considered valid based on your usage.
Regarding your account with mobile number xxxxxxxxx, I have checked that web and wap services has been opted-out last xx/xx/2014 10:06:43 AM which will no longer allow you to use data service using your network provider. From billing period xx/xx/2014-1/12/2015 to billing period x/xx3/2015-4/xx/2015, you were no longer charged for data usage. However, you were then charged for club content charges and gaming subscription which was categorized under internet charges but charges was came from your subscription to 4-dgit access number. Please be informed that charges are valid. Club content charges are from your subscription to 4-digit access number. To avoid further charges, you may opt-out to the service by sending CHECK to the access number and wait for the reply instruction on how to unsubscribe.
How many times must I tell you that I have NEVER played any games, used internet or done anything on my phone other than text or make phone calls? I have no use for any of those functions and have no idea how I would play some stupid game. I do not play games on any kind of media and especially my phone.
Why have I NEVER received a bill for that account xxxxxxxx? Why is that bill separate from the internet when it is bundled? Also, that SIM has also NEVER accessed the internet and I called to complain about that when it was first charged and was told the charges were removed. Again, my wife only uses HER phone as I do, for making calls and texts. Now, because of your incompetence and bullshit billing I have to use Smart to contact my wife.
Globe prepaid cell service. Load stealing service. This is one of the biggest organized thieving industries here. I catch them every time. Stealing 5p at a time. Their free fb is bs. Its only free if you have zero balance in your account. I have learned to load only 15p per day and quickly set a combo for texting to all networks for 15p. Then zero balance. I keep this sim only because of the many calling cards I have with this number. Its only 5 or 10 pesos per day from me but mutiply that times the number of customers they have. Someone is getting rich…
More wonderful Globe issues. The following was sent to Globe just now and this time I am trying politeness over the anger I usually send their way.
I do not know what is wrong with your billing department but I have 3 problems that need solved, and solve immediately.
Several times I have gone to the Globe store in Tagaytay to get bogus DATA charges removed from my bill and to have that function permanently disabled on my SIM. In my entire life I have never used my phone for internet and have no intention of ever doing so, yet suddenly I am being notified several times a day of more and more “unbilled usage.” So far in the weeks after I received my last bill in April, I HAVE shared load once and made several calls & texts to other systems, but certainly not P1xxxx which is the latest notice.
Then this morning I got a notice that something called SPOTIFY is going to expire and if I do not want to be charged P299/month for it I have to do something to stop it. First, what is SPOTIFY and how did it jump on my phone? Remove it and NEVER send me stuff I do not ask for, especially since I have no idea what it is. PERMANENTLY disable the data function of my SIM so I do not get any more bullshit charges.
Then there is a mystery account that tells me I have an overdue balance of P3xxxx. When I have talked with someone through Facebook chat they promise to fix it, then they tell me I have to go to Pala Pala to talk about because they say I opened the Account there in xxxxxx 2014. I suspect that is some kind of bill associated with the so-called “wireless landline” associated with my internet. If so, I have NEVER received a bill for it and since the thing is a bundled plan, there should be only a single bill anyway. That SIM has the number xxxxxxxx and has been shut off for several months and I suspect for data charges.
My wife uses that SIM and because she is a Globe third party contractor, all her calls & texts are to Globe so there would never be any calls made from that SIM. Once I was told it was being used for data, and when I told the Globe store in Tagaytay that the data function was also never used on that SIM they called the people at 211 and got the charges removed. How did I get new charges on it and how do I get them removed? The so-called account number for this bogus thing was sent to me by text and is: xxxxxxxxx and I need these problems resolved without traveling to Pala Pala or calling the idiot creatures who work at your 211 “coldline.” The only thing that happens when I call them is I get angry and nothing ever gets solved.
